The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Consultant to work in a vibrant, fast-paced, fun environment that breaks the mould of usual IT providers. Reporting to the Director, you will be an ambitious, enthusiastic individual that strives to deliver an exceptional client experience.

 

You will be delivering a vast range of projects to our clients from across our technology portfolio; you will be responsible for the complete project lifecycle, including the presales & scoping, planning and project management, delivery, and completion.

 

The role will be office based, with frequent client visits required during the project stages.

 

Responsibilities

 

Project presales

  • Able to quickly understand technical requirements and propose solution

Project Scoping, planning and documentation

  • Able to confidently scope project requirements, create project plan with all support documentation

Project Risk Assessment 

  • Perform risk assessment for project, taking into consideration the client’s business and impact

Project Delivery

  • Successfully deliver projects, taking full ownership of the delivery of the project

Project Fallout and Troubleshooting

  • Manage and resolve issues which arise from the project confidently, to aid client experience

Working with Vendors and unknown solutions

  • Able to converse and understand 3rd solutions and the impact / requirements for project work

Project communication and house keeping

  • Able to manage communication with client, internally and vendors. Keeping the project management solution up to date and accurate.

Project Documentation and Handover

  • Great documentation skillset and able to provide understandable handover and training for the service desk when projects are completed

 

Skills and Experience

  • At least five years of experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in and knowledge of delivering technology projects in the following areas:
    • Designing and implementation of Solutions.
    • Email Migrations, including Office 365, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Exchange.
    • Cloud/Physical server migrations, including 3rd party applications hosted on servers
    • Network Upgrades/Migrations
    • Firewall installations and configurations
    • Office Relocations/New
    • Office 365/Azure, including Intune.
    • AWS experience would be beneficial
    • Cyber Security related services.
    • Regular travel and a full driving licence is required for this role
